The Malawi Institute of Journalism, a leading training institution for professional journalism, is inviting applications from both practicing and aspiring journalists into its full time Journalism programmes for July 2022 semester.
Minimum entry requirements
- Certificate in Journalism programme
Applicants should be holders of a Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE), with at least four credits including English.
Candidates with at least two credits are also eligible to apply but will have to undergo a bridging course before entry into the programme.
- Diploma in Journalism Programme
Applicants should be holders of a Certificate in journalism or its equivalent or any related higher qualification from a recognized institution.
Applicants with an equivalent tertiary qualification must also provide a proof of their journalism work such as an article in a publication and a recorded TV or Radio program.
Mode of Application
Fill an application form with a non-refundable application fee of K10,000.00 and attach copies of educational qualifications from a recognised academic institution.
